Compatible land uses: we have seen poor examples where green spaces have been located next to main roads such as at Eddington where the open space is next to the M11 and at Darwin Green where it is next to the A14. Reference should be made as whether there is disturbance from roads.

This is the basis of the overarching strategy to transport and connectivity and all policies, strategies and schemes need to align with the vision, goals and objectives.

Draft Cambridge Biomedical Campus Supplementary Planning Document
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority support statements around improving active travel and making it accessible and connected as well as working towards shared transport and reducing the dependency on private car use. The Combined Authority also supports the parking measures with the aim to improve model shift.
