Response to Question 3 2.05 Where U+I have sites that could benefit from, and enhance existing green space and wildlife habitats, steps will be taken to ensure such sites are delivered in a manner that seeks to deliver an enhanced wildlife quality. Projects will seek to create a net biodiversity gain and protect specialist ecological features where needed.

Question 2. Please submit any sites for employment and housing you wish to suggest for allocation in the Local Plan. Provide as much information and supporting evidence as possible. · Development sites must support the sustainable transport goals of shifting the vast majority of everyday travel out of cars and into walking, cycling and public transport. · If it is not possible to produce a realistic Transport Assessment achieving that goal, then the site must be rejected. · It is important that sustainable transport is not only considered within the site but also the connections to the transport network and other sites. · Transport cannot be looked at in a silo. Transport, including cycling, is integral to planning of new developments and must be considered from the very start.

Question 2: Please submit any sites for employment and housing you wish to suggest for allocation in the Local Plan. Provide as much information and supporting evidence as possible. The Land to the South East of Cambridge was submitted to the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment Call for Sites and Broad Locations in 2019. As requested a new Housing and Employment Sites Call for Sites Form has not been produced but an accompanying Vision Document for the site reflects what it is considered the site could include. The Vision Document should be read alongside the 2019 SHELAA submission and it supersedes the previously submitted Options for Sustainable Growth document (March 2019).
