Greater Cambridge Statement of Community Involvement Draft Consultation 2023

Representation ID: 200031

Received: 17/11/2023

Respondent: Ms Annabel Sykes

Representation Summary:

There seems to be a formatting error on page 34 below "d) A local policing body (Cambridgeshire Constabulary)".
Is the health body list in various places in this Appendix complete and up-to-date?
Should the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (or the Mayor) be mentioned on page 34?
I have suggested previously that chalk stream-related charities/interest groups should be consulted, were appropriate.

Greater Cambridge Statement of Community Involvement Draft Consultation 2023

Representation ID: 200034

Received: 28/11/2023

Respondent: Mr Stephen Davies

Representation Summary:

Reference is made to the NHS Commissioning Board in the list of Duty to Consult Bodies. This is out of date and demonstrates ignorance of current NHS structures. The statute now refers to Primary Care Trusts, which themselves have been superseded by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). It is an anomaly that the ICB, together with the Eastern regional office of NHS England are not statutory consultees. The levels of population growth proposed will require healthcare infrastructure planning and investment on a large scale, yet at the moment there is a significant disconnect between spatial planning and healthcare planning.
