Good afternoon

I have read fully the draft Development Framework Supplementary Planning Document for Land North of Cherry Hinton - this office would be contacted in regard to any planning applications so we can advise on community safety and crime concerns. At this stage I below the current proposed document addresses paragraphs 58 and 69 of NPPF and we look forward to working with the planning departments in regard to this site in the near future.

I have no further comments, observations or recommendations at this stage, thank you for allowing us to make comments

Consultation on a draft Development Framework Supplementary Planning Document for Land North of Cherry Hinton

Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council have prepared a draft Development Framework Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for Land North of Cherry Hinton.

The Development Framework is being prepared as an SPD in order to help guide the preparation and assessment of future planning applications for residential development in the area. It will also support Policy 12: Cambridge of the Cambridge Local Plan 2014: Proposed Submission (as amended) and Policy SS/3: Cambridge East of the South Cambridgeshire Proposed Submission Plan 2014 (as amended).

An eight-week consultation period on the draft Development Framework will run from:

9am on 7 August 2017 to 5pm on 2 October 2017

The draft Development Framework SPD and other relevant documents are available for inspection during the consultation period at the following locations:

* Online on Cambridge City Council's website:

* At Cambridge City Council's Customer Service Centre at Mandela House, 4 Regent Street, Cambridge, CB2 1BY from 9am-5.15pm Monday to Friday.
* At South Cambridgeshire District Council's Offices at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6EA from 8am-5:30pm
* At Cherry Hinton Library, High Street, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge, CB1 9HZ

The draft Development Framework SPD can also be purchased for £10 from the Cambridge City Council Customer Service Centre (phone 01223 457000) or from South Cambridgeshire Hall (phone 03450 450 500).

Comments should be made using:

* A paper response form is also available from the Cambridge City Council Customer Service Centre or from South Cambridgeshire Hall as detailed above. Alternatively the form can be downloaded and filled in electronically by visiting: https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/land-north-cherry-hinton-spd
