Instructions

You can use the online consultation system to read documents published by the councils, to make comments during a public consultation, and to view comments made by others on a particular question or policy.

Registering and logging in

Use the links in the black bar that runs across the top of this website - the links are in white in the top right corner.

You only need to register and login if you wish to make comments. You can view all the published content without registering or logging in.

We ask for your name and postal address, because the Councils must comply with national regulations for plan-making. Your name will be published alongside your representations on this website, but your email address, address and phone numbers will not.

Forgotten password?

Use the forgotten password form which is linked on the login form. Enter the email address you registered with, then check your inbox for further instructions. If you don't receive an email please check your spam folder.

Making comments

To make comments (known formally as representations), click on the speech bubble icon next to the question or policy that you are interested in and complete the online form.

Note: Representations are processed and published after the consultation ends and not before. Depending on the amount of representations received, this can take some time. Only representations processed will be available to view.

Viewing comments after a consultation ends

To view representations, click on the magnifying glass icon  next to the question or policy that you are interested in, and the representations published will be listed.

The number of representations relating to that question or policy is displayed in brackets next to the icons.
