Gamlingay - Designation of Neighbourhood Area (September 2014)

The Forestry Commission received an email regarding the Gamlingay Neighbourhood Area Consultation.

The area covered by this plan includes and is adjacent to several ancient semi natural woodlands of high environmental value, some of which are designated as SSSI's. This should be considered in the plan, ensuring that these woodlands are well buffered from any future development and all opportunities are taken to link the existing woodlands or to enlarge them.
