Addenbrookes is a large employer. We would support development here but the types of homes need to fit in with those likely to live there.
A high proportion of Key Worker accommodation for the Addenbrookes site very important so workers at all levels at Addenbrookes have somewhere nearby and a safe walk from Addenbrookes.

The plans for the access into Darwin Green is from Cambridge Road, Impington (NOT Histon Road, Cambridge as is often erroneously stated) and is completely inadequate and that the simple junction so close to the King Hedges Road junction on the same Cambridge Road, Impington will inevitably cause major traffic disruption, perhaps even affecting the traffic leaving the A14.

Waterbeach requires major enhancements to the A10.
As the Cambridge Metro no longer an option, a lot of thought on how to get from A14 A10 junction to Waterbeach and to Cambridge needs multiple plans to meet a number of scenarios as currently, we don't know what transport corridor if any will be there.

A major transport consideration need to take place before any proposed expansion. A all rural areas must not be segregated from Cambridge particularly where Jobs and Services nearby are none skill set variable.

Support for ground breaking research here is essential. That support should also mean affordable homes as it will not just the highly paid educated scientists but also those closer to the minimum wage supporting the research (not just cleaners but also those providing ChildCare (list not exhaustive) are unlikely to affordable housing here).
